Universal Studios Florida
We're here at somewhere we don't often come to, and that is Universal Studios Florida. Now growing up I was here as often as I was at Disney. Living local, we usually stick to Disney, however we do come every year or so to check out things or come to an event. I still remember when I was a kid watching the boat show in the lagoon, thinking that was the best show I've ever seen. Even when I got on the Roosevelt Tram and was attacked by King Kong, or on a boat tour and being attacked by Jaws. How about seeing your favorite Nickelodeon shows right in front of your face. So much offered back then and every good ride has to come to an end, now all of those are gone and one remaining ride today is E.T., but for how long? With old rides and attractions come new adventures like Harry Potter, Race through New York, Fast and the Furious and Transformers. So many changes in a matter of 30 years. Still one thing that has not changed is putting you right in the middle of the action with all of the thrills and chills of some of your favorite movies. So let's get going on our tour of Universal Studios!
First you're going to walk past the Universal Studios Store, don't worry you can come back on your way out. No need to carry things around all day.
One of the many food and drink stands throughout the park.
Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.
The Betty Boop store.
Shrek 4-D.
Hollywood Rip Ride RockIt Roller Coaster.
Monsters Cafe.
Race through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon. We both really liked this ride.
I always loved the themeing in this area.
This was a pretty cool store.
Transformers The Ride. This was a cool ride.
Fast & Furious Supercharged. Well.....the themeing is really cool, but that's about it. They should have stuck to Earthquake. Pretty terrible with all the screens and motions.
My beast.
King's Cross, from here you can hop the train over to Islands of Adventure, only for annual passholders and multi-park hoppers.
Food was decent.
Fear Factor Live. Pretty cool to watch.
Men in Black. Always a fun ride!
The Simpsons Ride, I miss Back to the Future.
Some reason I love this.
Gone but not forgotten.
I always remember just standing next to the train and staring at it.
E.T. Adventure, one of the last rides around from the early days. Love the smell!
We did this a few years back, fun expierence.
We end near the front at the Brown Derby Shop.
We hope you enjoyed our tour around Universal Studios Florida.
