Epcot International Food & Wine Festival (2018)

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival (2018)

It's that time of the year again! That's right, it Food & Wine time! This is one of our favorite times to go to Epcot. During this festival you have the chance to taste foods from all over the world. In addition to the many countries Epcot represents year-round, you also have new countries such as Brazil, Greece and Hawaii. This event is truly a foodies paradise! We always have so much fun checking out all of the different options and seeing new things.

We hope you enjoy the tour around the Festival and make sure to check out all of the other things we have on our blog, we're always adding something new.

Welcome to Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival!

Our first, recommended stop is at the Festival Center. The Center is to the left of Mission Space. This is the hub for a lot of the activities, seminars, cooking demos and a ton of other great things!

For Disney Annual Passholders, make sure to stop and pickup your magnet at the Festival Center. On your fourth visit you can pickup a Mickey Cutting Board.

Inside the Festival Center. Just a small percent of what is offered here.

Here is a map of the Festival Center. Click the image to enlarge the view.

Our first stop is The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar, hosted by Ghiradelli.

These next few images are of sculptures made from chocolate.

Do you recognize him? I will give you a hit, look at the themeing. Comment below and let us know what resort this is inspired from.

The Headless Horseman from Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

The Black Panther.

Also the new Slinky Dog Roller Coaster from Disney's Hollywood Studios. Such an awesome ride!

Right outside you come to a few booths of different household items that they will do some demos and you have a chance to purchase.

One of the demonstration centers in the Festival Center.

A closer view.

I was here around 9:30 in the morning and yes they were serving that early.

Our first menu of the day is at Craft Drafts in the Festival Center.

Next up the Spotlight Stage which is another stage area.

Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar.

Don't forget to pickup your magnet and cutting board (Annual Passholders Only).

Family of Wines

They also have an extensive wine shop.

 Some of the awesome glassware.

I loved this shirt!

The headbands for the festival.

This was my favorite picture that you could purchase.

Next to the store you come to another display, this one is where you can custom make scarves and linen.

 Here are some samples.

See the hidden Mickey?

Okay, we start our tour over in Future World - East at Taste Track, which is around the corner from Test Track.

Moving to the opposite side of Future World, we are now in the West side, which has a lot more options and variety. We now come to Flavors from Smoke, you can tell you're near it by the amazing smell in the air.

In the Nice Eats section you start with Active Eats.

Followed by Earth Eats.

To the left is the Steakhouse Blended Burger and to the right is the IMPOSSIBLE Burger. Let's start with the bad. The IMPOSSIBLE Burger was my least favorite. My main reason was the bun, the sesame seeded bun was a lot of what I tasted, overpowered the flavor big-time on this. Other than that it was decent, wouldn't go out of my way for it. Now for the good, the Steakhouse Burger. This was a really good burger, I enjoyed it a lot. The white sauce on it was amazing!

Finally Coastal Eats.

Around the corner we come to The Chocolate Studio.

Next door is The Cheese Studio.

Finally in this section is the Wine & Dine Studio.

Tired of the heat? Let's head inside to the Light Lab.

Here is the Light Lab bar which is outside the Lab.

Ready to go in?

Now we head back outside and to Showcase Plaza, home to the start of the different countries at Epcot.

First stop is Hawaii. A must do is the Slider!

Next up is The Almond Orchard.

Let's head down under to Australia.

Here is one off the beaten path, The Refreshment Port.

We tried the Beef Brisket Poutine. Overall it was good, big portion, well it better be for $9. Brisket went well with the cheese and fries.

 Next stop is New Zealand.

Thailand

Greece was a very good stop, great flavors.

This was the Taste of Greece. Everything was amazing and flavors popped with every bite!

Our last stop in Showcase Plaza is Islands of the Caribbean.

Onto World Showcase, the first stop and probably one of the busiest is Canada. This is one country we've never eaten at.

Next stop is Ireland. However I can't help but walk by and not think about getting Fish & Chips.

Next stop is France.

Heading around World Showcase we take a stop at Brazil.

Next is Belgium.

Followed by Morocco. This is always one country we always look at but never end up going to.

Japan is next, if you're in the mood for sushi this is a must-stop for you.

We're in the center which is America and we come to Hops and Barley. This country is always great, no matter the festival.

We now come to Italy, another country with some great food!

Next up, Spain.

Another hidden gem year-round is Germany.

Next to Germany is the Brewer's Collection.

Across you will find Africa. Africa Outpost which is also in World Showcase is a year-round country that many don't know about.

Welcome to India.

I love China! Their menu looked amazing!

Finally we come to Mexico, which is either your starting point or finishing point in World Showcase. Another country we've never eaten at.

Thank you!
