The Boathouse

The Boathouse - Disney Springs

Boathouse is located at Disney Springs. To us, this has been one of the best restaurants on Disney World property. This is a very nautical-themed restaurant that is a perfect place for lunch and/or dinner.

We've been here a few times and always had great service and excellent food. The themeing inside and outside of this restaurant is amazing and well-done. You should try to get reservations here if you do not have them and want to dine here. However based off what we've seen is that you're able to walk up and get a table without too much wait. That might be different depending on the time of year. This restaurant has so much seating and every view is a view of something different. You have seats inside as well as all over outside.

Food was so good here and the portions are HUGE! We love coming here after either walking around Disney Springs or after a movie or bowling. The restaurant also has a store inside which has some neat options.

Overall Boathouse is a MUST-DO when visiting Disney. It's a perfect location for the entire family. Great food, good service and an amazingly themed restaurant.

Love the colors of the building, especially on a beautiful sunny day!

The Amphicar Launch.

The Boatique store!

Main entrance of the Boathouse.

Always loved glass animals, we have a sea theme at home.

Some of the rubber ducky options.

Onto the main restaurant. This is the bar area which is located as soon as you walk into The Boathouse. Towards the back you see the outside area.

One of the many different dining areas in the restaurant.

Another bar towards the back of The Boathouse.

Another beautiful dining room.

Love the themeing!

We're starting outside where is just a couple of seats, there is seating all over the place in so many different areas.

Such an amazing view, from down here not 400' in the air. Which we did! That is the Character's in Flight balloon, which is half price before 10am.

I'm still blown away at the amazing attention to detail that this restaurant has.

Outside of the restaurant, down the dock is the Dockside Bar. The sitting area wraps all the way around with connecting docks.

Heading back into The Boathouse from the Dockside Bar (behind me).

We start our meal with some bread and butter. This is one of the best options on property.

Disney Springs has a wide-selection of great burgers that are available but some that many don't think to check out are at some of these restaurant's that offer different types of cuisine, when we went to House of Blues we had one of the best burgers we've ever had, here was even better. This was the Gibson's "Sandwich King" Award Wining Burger which was 50% Chuck and 50% Brisket with Crisp Cherry Peppers (AMAZING), Jalapeno Havarti & Mayo served with Fresh Cut Fries. Burger tasted great and loved every bite of it. I would have changed the fries. They were good but I would have like to see maybe a different fry, maybe a steak or waffle fry. Just a personal preference.

We've had clam strips many times before and very rarely do they taste anything more than just breading. The Fried Wild Caught Atlantic Surf Clam Strips were above amazing. They were served with a Tarter Sauce, Lemon and Fresh Cut Fries. It was a large portion and tasted amazing!

The Grilled Ponce Inlet Amberjack Fish Tacos were Jerk Spiced, served with Crisp Vegetable Slaw, Avocado and a Serrano-Chili Cream. These were very good. Hard to find good fish tacos and this hit the right spot!

These were the Filet Mignon Sliders. Actually expected better with this dish. Flavor wasn't all the way there for these. I'm thinking it was one of their "off" nights. We also ordered the Gibson Burger, which we ordered before and enjoyed it very much, this time wasn't nearly as good. I'm thinking just a fluke.

Here is the NY Steak & Fries, topped with Maitre d' Butter, Pearl Onions and Roasted Garlic. It was a decent dish, nothing amazing, but good.

This was the Maine Lobster Bisque, flavor was really good.

Seafood boil. Basic, nothing crazy.

You actually get to eat in this boat. I do believe it cost a good amount of money to do this, might want to check it out if you're interested.
