Bervard Zoo
Today's wild adventure takes us to the Bervard Zoo. The zoo is located about 20 miles from Port Canaveral, so it's a great option if you're in port for the day. Roughly a 40 minute drive from Orlando. The zoo isn't too big, but inside does offer a lot of interesting things and animals. We did get a chance to hang out with the giraffes and feed them, which is always a favorite of ours. Other than that we checked out the rest of the zoo and just enjoyed our day.
Overall the zoo is nice, does offer a lot. If you're hungry the food spot they have has the best chicken tenders we've ever had. The giraffe feeding was nice, although felt it was a bit pricey for what you get, $2 for 1 piece of lettuce was a bit extreme. We did like how close we got to some of the big cats in the zoo. Very enjoyable!
