Friendly's - International Drive
Today we took a trip over to International Drive and decided to finally go to Friendly's. We've been going to this chain for a very long time and generally we always loved it. However living down south the location we had was terrible and very poorly run, hence leaving a bad taste in our mouth. We are always hesitant on anything on International Drive since most of the places don't take much pride in their food and restaurant service. That is not the case here. Service was absolutely amazing and food was incredible and exactly what we came for. We thought so highly of our visit, I took it upon myself to contact corporate and let them know how amazing this location was. Hopefully the store receives the message.
Plenty of seating all around.
Even more seating to the other side of us.
Food came out very fast and very hot and delicious. In the above image is the Honey BBQ Chicken SuperMelt, which is Country-breaded, all-white tenders smothered in sweet honey BBQ sauce, melted cheddar cheese, applewood-smoked bacon and ranch dressing on grilled sourdough bread. This was everything I originally feel in love with. Also with this image since we were splitting the dish the server split the meal for us, so this is a half portion. It was worth every bite!
So my wife basically wanted to come here for lunch and decided to get the Reese's Pieces Sundae, which is 5 scoops of vanilla ice cream, Reese's pieces, peanut butter, marshmallow, hot fudge and topped with a cherry. Yum!! Now coming here was basically an alternative then going to Beaches and Cream at Disney's Beach Club Resort and getting the similar No Way Jose, which will run you about $11, which was our entire meal here.
Thank you for checking out our review of Friendly's on International Drive.
