J. Timothy's Taverne (Plainville, CT)

J. Timothy's Taverne

Today we take a trip north, way north to Connecticut. We were up here visiting some family and decided to come to this local hot spot. We've dined here several years ago and since then I wanted to go back. Plenty of northern charm with great food. Highly recommend dining here if you're around.

These were Potato Skins, they cooked these so well that the cheddar and Jack cheese that was on it melted right in and tasted so gooey and amazing. One of my all-time favorites. The picture doesn't show how big these actually were.

This was the Irish Nachos, Fresh Fried Potato Chips, loaded with Gorgonzola cheese,  bacon, tomato, jalapenos and red onions. Wholey moley were these good! The Gorgonzola went perfectly. So delicious.

These were the "Dirt Wings", which is Food Networks top 5 Bar Food in the country! These were really good. Reminded me of wings we used to get down in South Florida at this place called Roosters. Haven't had a good set of wings in several years, so it was very nice to have these.

Thank you for taking a trip north with us and checking out our review of J. Timothy's Taverne in Connecticut.
