RESORT TOUR | Disney's Art of Animation Resort

Disney's Art of Animation Resort

From the moment I saw this resort it made me want to do a tour of the resort. I just loved all of the different sections and amazing things to see. I had a lot of fun at this resort and checking it out. This is a very colorful and great resort for families. Located near Disney Springs and just minutes from all of the resorts. Also easy access to Pop Century.

We start off in the lobby, down in the far back is the actual entrance, to the right is the check-in area.

The walls in the lobby have a bunch of artwork of Disney movies from rough drafts to final versions.

Timon has come a long way!

Next we head into the gift shop which is steps away from the lobby.

Next up in the dining area here at Art of Animation. This is a grab and go section, no specialty dining available.

Ice cream is out all day, we were here in the morning hours and it was available.

Art of Animation has the nicest and one of the largest arcades we've seen at a resort.

The arcade goes all the way back.

The Big Blue Pool! This is the Finding Nemo section of the resort. Also home to the second largest pool at Disney World.

Splash Pad for the children.

It's Crush man!

On the end of many of the buildings is a large colored notepad, it starts on each side with the character in black and white.

If you're walking around you will come across a bunch of these signs. Make sure to check them out, tons of interesting facts.

Now we come to the Little Mermaid section of the resort.

Side of the building.

This area has it's own pool.

From the Little Mermaid section, heading to the main pool you come to the Lion King section of the resort.

Smile!

Coming across all of these larger than life figures is amazing!

I wonder what he's looking for?

Mine! Mine! Mine!

Our final section we come to is Cars.

The themeing in this area was some of the best in the entire resort.

In this section they also have a third pool, however it is the smaller of the pools here. Also you can see in the back the cabana-style parts where you can hang out away from the sun, they are not large but nice to have.

Another shot of the pool area.

Please keep off of the cars, I kept seeing kids going on top of the cars and the parents steps away doing nothing.

Thank you for checking out our tour of Disney's Art of Animation Resort!
