Celebration Town Tavern (Celebration)

*** OUR FAVORITE ***

Celebration Town Tavern

Just a few miles of Disney World is a town named Celebration. This town was originally developed for Walt Disney World. The thing we love about coming to this area is just how unique the town looks. We have so much fun just looking at the homes all around, even during Christmas. Also plenty of great shops and restaurants. One of those restaurant's is Celebration Town Tavern. We wanted seafood and were looking around all over Orlando and my wife came across this hidden gem. We had such a fun time checking out the local shops and the food here was great.

Update, we've been to Celebration Town Tavern more times than any other restaurant, at least 30 times. Have eaten most of the menu. Have to honestly say, this is comfort spot. It's not going to be the most amazing food you're ever going to have. Never had a bad meal here, service is always great. Food was always been good to great. A place we find comfort in. When we started to go back out to eat after lockdown, this was our first spot, because we were comfortable here. Love it here. Out of every restaurant on this blog and that we've been to, this is always been home for us and a favorite.

Plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Here is the pager they gave us. Loved the lobster idea with this, so great with the theme!

View from our table.

We loved the window paintings.

This is the other side of the restaurant.

Bar area.

This was the Chocolate Martini, one of the best we've ever had!

My Red Sangria. I always love a nice Sangria, and this was very nice!

This was the Green Monstah, mix of Captain Morgan, Malibu, Blue Caracao, pineapple and mango. Pretty good drink.

These were the seasonal drinks we got in October for my birthday, on the left was a Pumpkin Martini and on the right a Pumpkin Ball. These were some of the best drinks we've had. The martini had pumpkin liqueur, vanilla vodka, rum chata, Irish cream, half & half with a cinnamon sugar rim. The Pumpkin Ball was Captain pumpkin, fireball and bailies.

This was the amazing Clam Chowder, OMG was this amazing!

If a cup of Clam Chowder just isn't enough for you, why not try a bowl of it!?!

If Clam Chowder isn't your thing, how about the Lobster Chowder, personally my favorite! Only bad thing about this is that it is only served on Friday's. So good!

Why not get both! Lobster & Clam Chowder! Our home is divided. My wife loves the Clam, while I still think the Lobstah is bettah!

In case you wondered what a bowl of Clam Chowder looked like. Even better than the small!

 Caesar Salad was good.

This was the Cape Cobb Salad, it had lobster salad, corn salsa, bacon, egg, bleu cheese crumbles, diced tomato & avocado, topped with their signature mango chutney dressing. Overall, an amazing dish we both loved it!

My wife got a house salad, she enjoyed it.

For my entree I wanted to get something that my wife always talks about, that was the Baked Stuffed Shrimp. I can see why she always talks about this. It was very good! Flavor was tasty, only thing I would have change was the amount of butter, you can see from the picture that it was swimming in it. Still really good.

My wife found Fried Whole Belly Clams, she's also been talking about these forever. So happy she found them. They were also really good, very tender and not overpowering with it being fried, it was perfect.

Potato Skins were very large and had good flavor.

These are the Sliders. We really liked these.

Above is their Lazy Lobster Casserole. This is 6oz of their lobster knuckle & claw meat, baked in lemon butter and topped with a breadcrumb stuffing. This was so plentiful with the portion of lobster meat. The fries that it came with were decent, wished I had a bit more and they were a little more crispier. This was a pretty decent dish, if you're a lobster lover like I am you won't be disappointed.

This was the Clam Strip roll. We both enjoyed it. The bread could have been better, a bit soft and the portion of fries could have been larger.

During the St Patrick's Day weekend we had on of their specials which was the Adam's Famous Shepard's Pie. It was ground sirloin with corn and potatoes, that was it. Honestly that is all this great dish needed. So much flavor from just those three ingredients alone. We wouldn't change a thing about this dish at all.

I went with the Meatloaf Stacker, which is meatloaf piled high, with mashed potatoes, Texas toast and topped with gravy and thin sliced onion rings. I wish I could tell you how great this dish was. My wife, who usually takes a few bites ate most of this. I had a few bites. Both of us loved this dish so much. This isn't your everyday meatloaf. So much flavor. The meat alone was great, so were the potatoes and the gravy was heaven. Would get this again!

This is the Turkey Stacker, similar to the Meatloaf. This was also really good. It had thinly sliced turkey, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and Texas Toast all topped with gravy and onion strings. I had this right around Thanksgiving, it's everything you could want on a holiday meal.

Now this restaurant isn't known much for their ribs, but they should be. I am as picky as they come for a good rack of ribs. Ever since we moved to Orlando I've missed my Baby Back Ribs, until now. They fell right off the bone and the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet with a slight heat. I loved these ribs so much! It came with two sides, I went with their fries and a salad.

This is the half portion of ribs. Still a great dish. Love these so much!

Just a simple Bacon Cheese Burger. Overall a good burger. Would get this again. Just wanted something simple and this was perfect.

Above is the Tenderloin Tips which are marinated in a sweet, tangy marinade, then grilled. It came with sides. Everything on this plate was great! The steak was cooked perfectly in every bite. We enjoyed this more than we thought.

Above is a December special. This was the Stuffed Lobster. It was around $30 and well worth the price. It was stuffed with an amazing breading, scallops, shrimp and crabmeat. Flavor was amazing in this dish, wish they kept it on the menu year round!

This was the Sirloin Steak. I wanted something simple and this was perfect. Decent price, good flavor and just enough food.

I ordered the Surf & Turf. It comes with a 12oz NY Strip Steak, which is underneath the mountain of onion rings. As well as 5 jumbo shrimps and fries. This was an enormous dish! I could have swore that the menu said an onion ring, not a mountain! They were good, a little lackluster on flavor, but still good. Luckily I didn't opt for two sides, I went with fries and a salad. Steak was cooked to perfection and the photo does show the size, but that was a huge steak as well! Highly recommend this dish.

This is the 2 lb lobster. It was my birthday and I went big for it. I did realize that I prefer the tails due to the flavor, but this wasn't bad at all. Worth it when it comes to your table and you're in shock.

This was the Fried Combination Platter, you get Whole Belly Clams, Scallops, Scrod & Shrimp. This was really good. Not too overwhelming with oil flavor. The scallops we loved so much, very tender. Comes with two sides.

Bacon burger, exactly what it says it is, really good!

Wife went with clams. So fresh and so good!

Fish tacos, so much fish! If you're in the mood for fish tacos these will hit the spot and leave you FULL!!!

Check out their beer menu, it's HUGE!!!! Here is one of the many options. Really good!

So wondering what some of the food looks like to go? Finally after a few years and a pandemic we got takeout. Overall really great on pickup. I placed my order when I got there and about 15mins later I'm gone. Food was great!

Here is the Clam Chowder to-go. Still AMAZING!! Word of advice, eat the chowders fresh, next day in the microwave not too good. Fresh is the way to go always.

Here is the Lobster Chowder, a Friday special. I love this Chowder so much. Great flavor.

Here is the whole belly clams. Even better at home!

This was the new BBQ Stacker. Pulled pork, potatoes, Texas Toast and Onion Straws. I had a thought on how this was going to taste, it blew that out of the water. The bread did not stay toasty, but it was fine. The pork was great, sauce was amazing. I've officially tried all three stackers, and this was the best.

View from the outside. You have so many shops and restaurants all over the place. Parking is available on the street for free, we really didn't have a problem with getting a spot.

Disney does offer a carriage ride for about half the price of this, the one here was around $70, somewhere around that range. Wasn't spending it on this night.

Thank you for checking out our review on Celebration Town Tavern located in the beautiful city of Celebration.
