RESORT TOUR | Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Spings Resort

Today's tour takes us over to the Coronado Springs Resort at the newly opened Gran Destino Tower, a 16 story addition to the resort. Walking into the lobby we were blown away at the overall look and decor. Truly stunning, and it doesn't stop there, every where you look the resort pops with color and decor. Amazing! We stayed at Coronado Springs several years ago, well before this addition was ever announced. At the time and still today this was one of our favorite resorts that we've been to, one of the best pools on property.

Today we didn't check out the entire resort just the new tower. We walked around the two level lobby and just admired the beautiful decor and pictures on the walls. They did a great job designing this lobby, nothing was an eyesore and it was perfect. Plenty of places to and relax, even sections with plug-in's and USB's for charging. Also in the lobby is a full bar down on the lower level, along with a small cafe with some pastries and coffee options.

After we checked out the lobby we decided to head up, 16 floors to the top. Getting there you take one of the "smart" elevators, basically you hit the floor you want and go to the assigned elevator. So the doors open and when we got out we looked to our left and we saw the Toledo Restaurant and to the right is the Dahlia Lounge, both with amazing views of Walt Disney World. You can see all four parks from the top level. Also some outside lounging areas at the Dahlia Lounge.

So we start over in the Dahlia Lounge, this lounge alone will give you some stunning views. Head out on the terrace and check it out as well. We came up here around 9am and everything was open to view around. The lounge also has a full bar along with a small menu. Great place to check out fireworks over at Hollywood Studios and maybe even Epcot.

Next we head next door to Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood, this was one of the most impressive restaurants in Orlando we've walked into. Very open and you have two trees, making it look amazing! Also a few private dining rooms, one being in a glass room with one wall being all wine bottles, another tucked away in back for family seating. No matter what seat your in you get a great view of the outside. On one side a great view of Hollywood Studios, the other in the distance, Magic Kingdom. Great place to be for all of the fireworks. This might give the California Grill a run for it's money for views.

We then headed back downstairs and checked out some of the outside area. We did not get a chance to check out the Three Bridges Bar & Grill since it looked like it would downpour at any moment. Just looked around at the amazing views from all over the outside.

Overall this resort is stunning, from the moment you pull up to the moment you leave. Beautiful decor and stunning views are the main attractions here.

Welcome to the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

A media area as soon as you walk in to the left.

To the right is the check-in desk.

Found this area tucked away in a corner, just a place to sit and hang out away from the loud lobby area.

This is right near the check-in desk off to the back of the picture.

They have their own plug in port and USB port.

Here is the two level lobby shot. Amazing!

Also downstairs in this area is the bar, here you can grab a cocktail or coffee.

They do serve Joffery's coffee, also some specialty coffee options.

Tons of area down here to sit and hang out.

Another image of the bar area.

Loved this picture so much.

Another view in the lower lobby area.

We started in the Dahlia Lounge, great views of the area from the 16th floor.

Come outside and hang out. This was open as early as 9am.

Views of the Swan & Dolphin Resort, Epcot & Hollywood Studios.

Even Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

Turning a little bit more we can see Blizzard Beach in the distance.

Even more turning will get you Animal Kingdom.

Zoomed in on Galaxy's Edge.

Back inside checking out the lounge, full bar and seating area. Also some small bites available here.

I got this shot by putting the phone on the table, I think it came out great!

Awesome views!

Some pictures of Walt Disney.

A view from the other side of the lounge where you enter from.

Now we come Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood on the 16th floor of the resort.

Two large trees in the restaurant.

This looks so good!

Plenty of seating areas.

This was the Sunset dining room. Just the one table.

This is the Sunrise room, seemed like more general seating. A bit quieter.

Main dining area against the window.

More of the general area. Looked stunning!

This was the Moonlight Room, amazing view from in here.

Just stunning!

Some more seats.

Head outside for a look around.

You can somewhat see the Three Bridges Bar to the right.

The Gran Destino Tower from the back, so tall!

Resort map, this resort was huge before the tower was here.

Goodbye!!!
