Whispering Canyon Cafe (Lunch)

Whispering Canyon Cafe - Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Disney has so many unique dining options around all over Disney World, one of them that is a big fan favorite is located at the Wilderness Lodge and that is Whispering Canyon Cafe. This place is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of their featured entrees for each meal are their All-You-Care-to-Enjoy skillets. Each different throughout the day.

This restaurant is a really fun place to eat. The waitstaff has a lot of fun with all of the tables during the meal. Anything from someone who asks for ketchup and everyone brings theirs to their table down to you asking for more drinks and they will come out with a large mason jar to drink out of! A bunch things like that, really enjoyable place to eat.

Overall the service is fairly good and same with the food. Not the best food you're ever going to have but the experience is well worth giving this place a chance.

We love the location of this restaurant, it's located right off in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge and if you've been to this hotel you know how beautiful this lobby is.

This was the Cornbread, it was not dry and was really good.

Here we have the St. Louis-style Pork Ribs, they have a Chipotle Barbecue Sauce. It was served with slaw and fries. Much like the ribs from the skillet, these were amazing. Some of the best we've ever had. Sauce was great on them.

Here is their lunch skillet, which has Slow-smoked Pork Ribs, Barbecued Pulled Pork, Roasted Glazed Chicken and Western-style Sausage, severed with Mashed Yukon Potatoes, Corn-on-the-Cob and Cowboy-style Baked Beans. Every item in this skillet is very good. You can also get more of any item during your meal at no extra charge since it is All-You-Care-to-Enjoy. The pricing was around $23 and it was per person. This is not a shareable dish, although I did give my wife a small piece here and there, nothing much. Overall this was an amazing dish and well worth the price. Dinner is a bit higher and options are close to the same. We've had this several times and always cooked perfectly.

Another view of the skillet. Remember you can get as much as you'd like.
