Shula's Steakhouse

Shula's Steakhouse - Disney's Dolphin Hotel

Time to get a little fancy and time to head over to the Dolphin Resort and having dinner at Shula's Steakhouse. We highly recommend getting a reservation if you'd like to dine here because it will book up.

Many people don't realize this, but this hotel isn't really a "Disney Hotel", Marriott owns this resort which is on Disney property. So with that being said the hotel does not take any Disney discounts. A tip I do have for you is that if you're celebrating a birthday, like we did on this night, you are able to print off a coupon when you sign up and you get a free entree with the purchase of another entree.

This is a chain steakhouse, not an Outback or Longhorn, more of a Morton's or Ruth Chris. Shula's is based off Don Shula and the perfect season that he had while he coached the Miami Dolphin's during the 1972 season. Speaking of perfect, our dining experience was just that! Again we were here celebrating my birthday and I was hesitant on coming here because I didn't just want another Disney World restaurant. I was so happy choosing this!

Food was spot on, maybe one of the best meals we've ever had. Service was just the same as the food. I can't say enough good about this place, we loved every moment of our dining experience. We can't wait to come back here again.

Overall the dinner was amazing and we recommend it to anyone looking for a great steak and a great evening. Afterwards you can check out the resorts or walk over to the Boardwalk.

This is the Phins & Feathers beer that they have on their menu, pricing was decent so I decided to get it. I'm very picky on beer and wanted to give this a whirl. It wasn't one that I'd get again, just a personal preference.

When you enter the restaurant and head into the dining area you will see a giant photo of Coach Shula and the winning Miami Dolphin's team.

Yummy bread!

The 24oz Porterhouse Steak. No this wasn't my steak, my wife wanted to get this, but yes I did eat most of it! So good!

OMG! This is the Potato Gratin, which has a Garlic Cream Reduction Topped with a Panko Parmesan Crust. This was and still is one of the best things I've ever had in my life!

Thank you for checking out our review of Shula's Steakhouse located in Disney's Dolphin Resort! Make sure to check out the rest of our reviews both here and on our www.CruiseAddictJunkie.blogspot.com page!
