Sonny's Barbecue (Orange Blossom Trail)

 Sonny's Barbecue - Orlando

Disney has plenty of options when it comes to barbecue options, however pricing can be a bit on the high side depending on where you end up. But is it really worth it? Honestly some items yes, but the price sometimes isn't worth paying. We've been wanting a good barbecue place ever since leaving south Florida. Sonny's is very similar to what we were used to. Although it was really good, our place was perfection. However if you're looking for a less-expensive option for barbecue that is pretty tasty and portions are plenty, consider heading to Sonny's Barbecue. We enjoyed our visit and would come back.

Our second visit was just as flavorful and fulfilling as always. Service was amazing, food was great! Left not wanting food for a week. So STUFFED!!

I really wanted to try a bit of everything, so I opted for Pork 3 Ways which consists of Pulled Pork, Sliced Pork & St Louis Ribs. Overall I enjoyed it, usually I'm not a huge fan of Pulled Pork, but this was some of the best I've ever had. The Pork was good and the St Louis Ribs I actually enjoyed more than my wife's Baby Backs, which are usually my favorite. For my sides I choose Crinkle-Cut fries, which are always my favorite in a place that offers a variety of sauces. Also the Mac n' Cheese and Texas Toast.

My wife ordered a slab of Baby Back Ribs, like I mentioned the St Louis were better in my opinion. These were good, but if I had to choose, it would be the St Louis. She also opted for Fries, Mac n' Cheese and Texas Toast.

Cornbread, really good and moist.

I got my baby back, baby back, baby back ribs! I'm a rib snob, I'd give these a solid 7.5 out of 10. Really good, don't get me wrong. I would wish for a bit more smoky flavor and a bit more flavor on the sauce. Still a solid option and will get again for sure!

This is the chicken, ribs and brisket with a side of toast, mac and cheese and tots. All good! Loved the flavors.

Thank you for checking out our review of Sonny's Barbecue located in Orlando.
