 Melting Pot - Orlando

Let's go on a date, shall we?!? Well I always get a lot of flack because I just love this place. I don't mind cooking my own food when I go out to eat. Honestly if the food is underdone or overdone, then you have no one to blame but yourself. Back to Melting Pot, this is basically a fondue restaurant where you cook your own food. We usually get the four course dinner which is a cheese fondue, salad, entree fondue and dessert fondue. Lot's of cooking, and usually dinner runs a few hours. I love coming here with my wife, just so intimate and romantic.

We started with the  Wisconsin Cheddar Fondue, which is aged cheddar, emmenthaler, Sam Adams Boston lager, garlic and spices. This was very tasty and for once I didn't care about eating my vegetables, I enjoyed them, especially covered in cheese!

The cheese fondues is served with artisan breads and seasonal fruits & veggies.

I went with the Caesar salad, which was romaine, Parmesan, croutons, Caesar dressings and Parmesan-Dusted Pine Nuts. The salad was very flavorful and the nuts added so much to this already great salad. Never thought to add nuts to a Caesar but it works very well!

My wife went with the Strawberry Pecan salad, which is spinach, strawberries, feta, candied pecans and lemon poppyseed vinaigrette. This also was really tasty.

We went for the Teriyaki-Marinated Sirloin, Premium Filet Mignon, Shrimp, Chicken, Potstickers and added a Lobster to the dish. Loved everything, very good! Plenty of food!

 Us cooking the vegetables first.

Some of the dipping sauces.

And a few more!

   Our table of pure goodness!

This was the Chocolate S'mores. We really enjoyed this along with everything else.

The dippers they give you with the fondue.

Thank you for checking out our review of the Melting Pot in Orlando. This location was off of International Drive on Sand Lake Road. Not too far from the Icon Orlando.
