Garden View Tea Room

Garden View Tea Room - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort

We were super excited for Tea Time. Something my wife always wanted to do, me I thought would be just okay. Well let's get into it!

Our booking was on Easter Sunday, so we had a chance to check out the awesome egg displays around the lobby, which is another link on this page, so check it out! Always great seeing the eggs every year. Onto Tea Time, this is something that is always offered and it takes place off of the main lobby in the resort. They have different packages available, based off what you want. We decided to pick the cheapest option. Have to say I was not expecting much from this, but overall I really enjoyed it and would definitely do that again. Highly recommend it. Food and service both great, same with the tea selection we ordered.

We chose the Bedfordshire Tea option. Honestly didn't feel it was worth an extra $15 per person for cheese and fruit. However we saw others get it and looked good, just didn't want it for this time around.

 Our table for Tea Time.

Our tea pot.

This is the Medley of Finger Sandwiches. It includes Tantalizing Cucumber, Sweet Curry Chicken, Traditional Egg Salad, Poached Pear and Gorgonzola Cream Cheese and Fire Roasted Tomato with Oregano-Goat Cheese and an Onion Tart. We enjoyed all of these, if you're not usually a fan, just try it anyways. I hate cucumbers, but the sandwich was one of my favorites. My top was the Sweet Curry Chicken, I could eat that every day of my life. My least was the Egg Salad. Nothing was really bad at all, honestly enjoyed everything so much.

Next is the Scone with Accompaniments. Buttery Golden Raisin Scone with Devonshire Clotted Cream, Lemon Curd, and Strawberry Jam, Served with a Strawberry Preserve Tart. Another course we both enjoyed a lot. Everything great.

Finally we end at Dessert. Delicate House-made Pastries with Mouse-filled Swan, French Macaron, and Chocolate Covered Strawberry along with a Seasonal English Trifle with layers of Lady Fingers, Chantilly, Seasonal Fruit and Hand-whipped Creme. Loved everything! My favorite was the Trifle, very good, great flavor!
